Well my friends it has been a busy season. From visiting family toworking on various projects. We have been working on finishing things we started; sweater, spinning samples for fiber study, and Patti knitting lace shawls. I have been working on my tomten jacket and spinning up the Finnish landrace fleece. It is a beautiful creamy white.I hope to have it done soon for Fiber fest. ( gvhg.org ).
We hope to see you all there. We are planning our fall fun things to do. Finger lakes Fiber Fest is first on our list of things to do. I hope to
do a couple of great wheel demos and get to enjoy the fest. My wife will be enjoying the fest this year for the first time. Next will be our trip to Rhinebeck fiber fest.
We really enjoy the time there. I really enjoy the animals and getting new fiber. Its a great time to experiment with spinning wheels. The guild has our bi-yearly retreat at Stella Maris and our
Christmas fiber exchange. That is a blast to participate in... We hope to fit a vac in there too.
